Situation

Onity had a growing desire to make it easier to do business with them after the initial sale of electronic locks, electronic safes, and Energy Management Soloutions.  The hospitality industry experiences extremely high turnover and access to training materials needed to be simpler and more efficient.


Consultation

Aftercareful consultation and review of business objectives, Orases recommended an eBusiness extranet.  In addition to providing a platform to get information to clients, it could also support the distribution of important sales, markerting and support materials to Onity employees.

Solution

The development of the industry's first business-tobusiness website designed to support the customer after the sale including access to mauals and product information as well as a rubust eLearning platform.  We also developed several innovative modules to support the sales force including a document delivery center and product comparison center. Socument Delivery allowed Onity employees to login via a computer or web-enabled phone and send any document within eBusiness via e-mail, or fax to a client.

Results

Within 12 months of release, Onity had more than 250 customers registered to use the eBusiness website and was awarded an industry award for Innovation in Customer Service.
