Since co-founding Orases ten years ago, Nick has established a proven track record of developing dynamic, logical and easy-to-use web-based solutions. His interactive business strategies provide tangible value to our clients, while delivering excellent end user experiences. As the Orases executive responsible for IT development, Nick is involved with all Orases clients to ensure that our customized Web Business & Marketing Building Programs are well designed and successfully executed. Nick is also our liaison to the community participating in several volunteer activities and community programs including the Chamber of Commerce, The Greek Food and Dance Festival, Chamber of Commerce Marketing Round Table, The Greater Frederick Advertising Federation, The Maryland Tech Council, and the Maryland Technical Education Committee.
A co-founder of Orases, Amy has a clear vision of the critical role internet technology plays in helping companies of all sizes develop and grow their performance. For the last ten years, Amy has successfully managed complex internet and IT development ventures for clients such as Xerox, Invisible Fence®, USA Football, Onity and many more. As the VP of Finance, Amy is responsible for the traditional financial infrastructure of Orases and oversees cash and accounting service management. Amy is often part of the estimation process for large projects as her background and experience in IT melds perfectly with her Finance role to assist in smoothing out realistic budgets and time frames. Amy is dedicated to delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, consistently delivering results on time and within budget.
David is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional who is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all of the operations within Orases. Our clients' needs and priorities are organized through David's clever and efficient management of the relationship between our clients and our internet developers. With over 25 years of experience in product design and development, his extensive management and leadership skills make him a resourceful asset to both our clients and our team as he excels in formulating policies, scheduling and managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources. David is a firm believer in the team environment and understands the importance of the team concept. His collaborative management and "lead by example" style helps create a positive and successful environment within the company, thus resulting in high quality products for our clients.
Jeff manages all sales and new business ventures. His remarkable acumen in sales and twenty years of experience in the field make him an incredible asset for our company. Previously he has worked for American Express Business Travel, Office Max, and Xerox; he has also owned his own business as a Sales Consultant and has been a personal trainer. Jeff attended Ohio University where he majored in Computer Science. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys sports, and used to play professional international basketball. Interestingly but not surprisingly Jeff is also a shopaholic, a passion that he and his wife share.
Since 2008 Laura has been involved with all functions associated with the daily accounting cycle for Orases. Laura has extensive experience which encompasses progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of office administration, human resources and finance management. Laura studied Elementary Education and Accounting at Kean University. During her free time, she is an avid reader, enjoys frequent trips to NYC and is actively involved with her local food bank.
With over a decade of experience in taking websites from concept through launch for clients like the NFL and the White House, Guy has established a successful process of gathering requirements, writing specifications, establishing a quality assurance program, scheduling and managing web based projects. When he’s not at work or running his free forum website for Frederick residents to discuss issues relevant in Frederick County, Frederick Maryland Online, Guy spends much of his time with his son Liam. He also enjoys running, hiking, reading, photography, and watching the Redskins. Guy holds a BS in Political Science and a BS in Justice Studies, both from Frostburg State University.
Ashley has a BA in English with a Specialization in Business and Professional Writing from West Virginia University (Let’s Go Mountaineers!) She has worked in marketing communications in the environmental, publishing and technology industries.
Kari has a MA in Human Sciences with an emphasis in experimental and research psychology from Hood College, and a BA in Psychology from University of Tennessee. Previous work experience includes two years as a research associate for a national web based commercial real estate research firm and three years with her family’s commercial land development firm as a project manager. She has also worked for various non-profits in the mental health sector, and spent a few years in the agricultural field working on dairy farms. Over the course of the years, Kari has been involved in a multitude of philanthropic and professional organizations. Currently, she is a Trustee for the Ausherman Family Foundation and is a member of the advisory board for the Ausherman Family Trust.
Yibeli returns to Orases where she previously worked as Project Coordinator. In that capacity, she engaged with clients of all sizes and industries to ensure successful implementation of their web site development needs, while maintaining the highest level of customer service. This past experience gave her a keen understanding of end-user expectations, and positioned her as the ideal candidate to carry out the requirements of her new role as QA Tester.
Yibeli is also an experienced marketing communications professional whose past positions have run the gamut within the creative, print and online marketing, and public relations arenas. With a background of more than 10 years in the industry, Yibeli has taken on challenging positions ranging from copywriting and editing, to desktop publishing, pre-press work and creative project management.
Brent has a BS & MS degree from Purdue University in Applied Computer Graphics. His research focus was in e-Learning applications while using handheld devices in the classroom. In addition, Brent has years of web development experience ranging from project planning to front-end design to back-end development. Outside of web development, Brent enjoys photography and is a sports enthusiast.
Brett started with Orases in 2008 and has become the E-commerce guru. He immediatley started working with Magento and has contributed to both the Magento community and the core code base. He also serves his community at least once a week as an EMT and Firefighter.
Duo is detail orientated - thinking and programming from the user’s point of view, and he exhibits strong problem solving skills. He prides himself on web development utilizing cutting-edge technology. Duo has been a key developer on many Sports related projects for USA Football, NFL FLAG and NFL PPK. Prior to Orases, he worked as a database coordinator for a medical school. In addition to his work, he enjoys playing soccer, challenging friends in ping pong, and taking the occasional fishing trip. Duo has a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Illinois at Chicago.
With over 10 years of IT experience, Eric Schultz has developed a wide variety of skills and a true understanding of technology with a sharp eye on how to apply them in today’s business world. After graduating from Frostburg State University in 2004, Eric began to focus his attention on Web Development in a number of areas such as web sites, web applications, and B2B data system integrations. When he’s not figuring out the best sub routine to handle his data, he goes home to his wife and two children. But when it comes to having some downtime, the only thing better than online gaming, is trying to play a round of golf.
