The qualified candidate must have the demonstrated ability to analyze and perform to pursue bid recommendations, generate new business cases and develop pursuit strategies for new business opportunities. The position will also require previous experience in evaluation of competitive environment assessment, technology applicability, market dynamics, price to win analyses and probability of winning. A proven/verifiable track record of negotiating and closing high value agreements involving strategic business relationships is required.
The Business Development Manager is the principle organization resource involved in external customer contacts, with the purpose of identifying, creating, qualifying, and capturing contracts with small to medium sized companies. The position requires strong technical and business acumen, external focus, team player, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidate must be capable of interfacing independently with customers.
Additionally, this professional will work closely with the senior management team to support and refine effective sales processes, leverage expertise area resources in new sales opportunities and help to build an integrated sales team equipped to represent the company's strategic, technology and agency offerings.
