Internet Project Specialist
Job Description
The Internet Project Specialist will be responsible for managing all day-to-day client activities including small, innovative projects and larger, integrated solutions, creating and maintaining accurate, organized, and complete project files, and tracking project progress and results. The ideal candidate is energetic and easy-going with a great work ethic and the personality for a diverse, customer service oriented, casual work environment. An IPS holds the key to the client's experience with us and will protect and build our business.
- Plan: Works with client to develop project specification requirements and coordinate various components of the web development according to those requirements; work with web development staff and operations to create detailed project plans including information architecture.
- Coordinate: Must be able to manage tasks for multiple projects and clients at a time. Deliver timely and accurate status reports to ensure on-time and delivery of web projects. Must be able to maintain a project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation. Ability to prioritize urgent requests among regularly scheduled web project tasks. Assist Operations by coordinating calendar, scheduling meetings, working with clients and/or vendors, business owners and development team. Completely responsible for day-to-day account management, with as-needed guidance from senior staff members.
- Communicate: Must be the central communication point for web project status within the company. Must be capable of reading the clients' personalities and appetite for change and act accordingly.
Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree (IS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience managing web projects or web development experience
- Computer proficiency in Windows environment appropriate to position (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook, Visio)
- Exceptional knowledge of the Internet and its core functionality

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills;
The following skills considered a plus:
- Background in Internet Development and Marketing; 2-4 years with an Interactive (Web) Agency
- Formal training or ample industry experience in Project Coordination/Management
- Experience in creating test plans and testing efforts; checking completed work against project requirements
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/Photoshop and ability to make small text edits to web pages.
